Seriously Bro?

It's like that?

Wal-Mart

Judy and I were out running some errands before dinner and we were eating near Wal-Mart so we stopped in..Judy needed to pick up Microsoft Office for her computer and after searching around online I remembered Wal-mart’s price was comparable to everywhere else.  So we grab what we need, and pick up the software, which is priced at $119, so we get to the register and it rings up $150, so I ask the ever so lovely cashier, who was clearly enjoying being the only register open in the “speedy” checkout lanes if she would check the price on it for me..after about 5 minutes along with the angry customers waiting to check out behind us the lady comes back and says the $119 version is only for 1 PC and what we had was the “Family Pack” for 3 PC’s which I wanted in the first place.  So we checkout and head home, and I start looking around online some more and come to find out on Walmart.com the exact same software that we purchased a few hours ago is priced at $115 so we decide to just go back tonight and, this is where I thought my common sense would kick in and save me (and clearly it didn’t, else I wouldn’t be posting this entry) so we head back out to Wally World and tell the ever so pleasant clerk in the service department that we just bought it and got home only to find out it was cheaper on THEIR website and ask for the price difference back.  She then informs us that the Wally world will match competitor prices only, not their own online price.  Now, here’s where I asked the stupid question, I say, I can log on to walmart.com buy that software for $35 cheaper, and pick it up here, correct?  She confirms I can in fact do that, and shipping is free! So, I say your telling me that your company will ship something from the warehouse, that you already have in stock and I have to come back and you can’t just give me the difference back?  Yep. that’s it, that’s all she said.  Seriously, bro?  HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? So needless to say I got all my $ back and will be buying it from Amazon. (like I should have in the first place)

Seriously bro? I would have ordered it online, from your phone and had the confirmation email right there on the phone. Then return your purchase. Once you got the your money back, go to the same clerk and let them know you are to pick up your web order.
